30. 07. 2008 - HOLIDAYS Czech Airlines – A Travel Agency Specialising in Air Travel in Europe – Enters the Czech Market

A specialist on air travel to European metropolises – the travel agency HOLIDAYS Czech Airlines – is entering the Czech tourist market.  The new travel agency will offer its clients short-term excursions by air to European destinations, for guaranteed prices, comprising the ticket, accommodation, and additional services.  The price for the customer is fixed and inclusive of all taxes and fees.

Starting in August, the company will offer three types of products under the HOLIDAYS Czech Airlines brand:

  • Theme Packages or, in other words, trips focused on an interesting theme.  On offer are romantic getaways in European metropolises, or the opportunity to recharge in a world-famous spa, or to sample the gastronomic specialities of selected countries.  These are weekend trips with pre-set departure and arrival dates, a selected quality hotel, and accompanying services.
  • Customised Packages are designed for the most discerning and corporate clients.  They offer individualised programmes tailored to a client’s needs.

  • Dynamic Packages allow those clients who like to plan and arrange all of the components of their trips themselves to combine a ticket and hotel accommodation at a preferential price.  Through an Internet application, a client can find currently available hotels and flights.  The application saves money and time.

The packages offered by HOLIDAYS Czech Airlines primarily makes use of scheduled Czech Airlines flights, which assures clients unmatched comfort in the form of on-time departures and arrivals and the quality of the air carriage services offered, which are regularly rated as the best in Europe.

A major competitive advantage is the opportunity to purchase trips with miles from the Czech Airlines’ OK Plus Frequent Flyer Programme.  If a client does not have sufficient miles, a payment in miles can be combined with a financial payment.

Trips have also been prepared for foreign tourists wishing to visit the Czech Republic.  For them, too, there is an offer of packages including air carriage on Czech Airlines flights, accommodation in a Prague hotel, and other services.  HOLIDAYS Czech Airlines theme trips for foreign tourists will focus on golfing, spas, culture, as well as on adrenaline activities and sport.  In its new concept, HOLIDAYS Czech Airlines focuses on business clientele, to which it will offer an entire range of services.

Passengers can find the offering of packages at www.holidayscsa.cz.  All HOLIDAYS Czech Airlines packages will also be included in the standard offering of Czech Airlines’ sales offices.

As a part of its OK 2006-2008 revitalisation strategy, Czech Airlines is gradually improving the efficiency of all of its activities.  In addition, Czech Airlines Airtours (newly HOLIDAYS Czech Airlines) has managed to stabilise itself and Czech Airlines has now decided to integrate this subsidiary even more greatly into its structure, such that both companies could make use of their mutual synergies.  As a part of the integration of HOLIDAYS Czech Airlines into the Czech Airlines structure, the office was moved in mid-June from Štěpánská Street to Czech Airlines’ main sales office, known as Gestin, in V Celnici Street.
