23. 10. 2007 - Reaction to the Speculation that Czech Airlines’ Management is Negotiating over the Airline’s Takeover
Prague, 23 October 2007
The management of Czech Airlines categorically denies the information, allegedly originating from a source close to the Airline’s privatisation, that Czech Airlines is negotiating over the possibilities and manner of its privatisation.
“I again declare that privatisation is exclusively an issue for the company’s owner, and not its management. The responsibility of the management is to prepare Czech Airlines to be in a position where there is something to be privatised. My team has been working on that for a year and a half. The Airline’s results show that we have been successful!” said Czech Airlines’ President and Chairman of its Management Board, Radomír Lašák.
The management will present the Airline’s positive financial results on 6 November 2007.
