19. 01. 2009 - Czech Airlines to Offer Untraditional Destinations for Valentine’s Celebrations

Prague, 19 January 2009

Czech Airlines will offer its passengers the opportunity to celebrate Valentine’s Day in untraditional destinations.  In February and the first half of March, Czech Airlines customers will be able to travel more advantageously to selected cities.

These advantageous flights are offered to attractive destinations in Europe.  The offer includes Rome, Barcelona, Athens, Marseille, and London, but also less known places that are unjustly not associated with romance, such as Tallinn, Budapest, Milan, Stockholm, and Istanbul.  This time, the special ticket offering is not limited to couples.  It can be used by an unlimited number of people.

A ride on the River Thames, taking a look at the city from the London Eye, an evening by the Roman fountain di Trevi, a walk along the quay in Marseille, or a boat trip to the fortress Iff.  These are some of the ways that – perhaps even somewhat untraditionally – one can celebrate the holiday dedicated to people in love.  But Czech Airlines’ advantageous prices will be appreciated even by those who are not too fond of Valentine’s celebrations.  A trip to the “Mecca” of fashion, Milan, will be especially appreciated by women.  Art lovers can take advantage of the possibility of travelling to Gaudí’s city, Barcelona.  People drawn to exotic experiences will be satisfied by a visit to the markets and ancient catacombs of Istanbul.

Discounted return trips to selected destinations are available at all Czech Airlines sales offices, travel agencies, and on the website www.czechairlines.com.  The Valentine’s offer applies to return trips purchased by 16 February.  A condition is that the passenger would commence the trip by 25 March.  The minimum duration of the stay at the destination is three days, including Saturday night.

Information about the exact conditions, and how to take advantage, of this offer can be obtained through our sales offices, via the operators of the Czech Airlines Call Centre on the toll-free line 800 310 310, or on the Internet at www.czechairlines.com.
