14. 08. 2009 - Czech Airlines Has Extended its Offer for the Passengers of Low-cost Carriers
Prague, 14 August 2009
Czech Airlines has extended its offer for passengers who have purchased a ticket from one of the selected carriers and have then encountered problems, or who fear that they may encounter such difficulties. Following the presentation of the original booking and the payment of 50 euros, they can take the next available Czech Airlines flight to the relevant destination. As of today, the offer applies to tickets purchased up to 13 August 2009 and valid through to 31 December.
Taking advantage of Czech Airlines’ offer is easy. A passenger who holds a valid ticket from his original carrier only needs to contact the Czech Airlines Call Centre at +420 239 007 007, or visit a Czech Airlines sales desk at Terminals 1 and 2 at Prague Airport, and book the next available flight with Czech Airlines. The passenger will pay the price of 50 euros for one direction, and if there is a seat on the Czech Airlines flight, he can fly to his destination. A Czech Airlines ticket can be issued no earlier than 24 hours before the originally planned departure.
“Czech Airlines is not changing its business strategy. We see this special offer more as the extension of a helping hand to those passengers who currently find themselves in a complicated situation or who may fear that they cannot avoid such complications. We are offering a simple solution and the certainty of an established carrier,” said Petr Pištělák, the Czech Airlines Vice President for Marketing, and added: “Rather than a programme, this is a onetime offer of assistance. Business passengers remain our main target group.“
Passengers can use Czech Airlines flights to the following destinations: Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Brussels, Budapest, Cologne/Bonn, Copenhagen, Frankfurt am Main, Heraklion (Crete), Larnaca, London-Heathrow, Manchester, Milan, Oslo, Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Rome, Split, Stockholm, Thessalonica, and Venice. The special offer applies to tickets valid until 31 December 2009 with the following carriers: bmibaby, Clickair, easyJet, Germanwings, Norvegian, Ryanair, SkyEurope, Smart Wings, and WizzAir.
