10. 4. 2007 - Ivan Kočárník is the New Chairman of CSA’s Supervisory Board

Prague, 10 April 2007

Ivan Kočárník became the new chairman of Czech Airlines’ (CSA) Supervisory Board today.  He replaces Miroslav Ševčík, who resigned his membership on the board, and his position as the Supervisory Board’s chairman, effective today.  Ivan Kočárník was elected as a member of the Supervisory Board by an extraordinary general meeting.  After the meeting, the Supervisory Board members elected him as their chairman.  Tomáš Uvíra became the First Vice-Chairman.

An extraordinary session of the CSA Supervisory Board today discussed the resignation of Pavel Bém and Rudolf Vyčichla, the latter of whom resigned due to his candidacy for membership on the Supervisory Board of Prague Airport, as proposed by the Ministry of Transport.  The extraordinary general meeting held today also recalled a member of the Supervisory Board, Tomáš Páv.  The new Supervisory Board members are Ivan Foltýn;  Kateřina Malechová; Pavel Škvára and Tomáš Uvíra, who was also elected First Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
