Prague, 7 August 2009
Prague Airport and Czech Airlines signed an agreement today that guarantees the level of services provided to Czech Airlines at Prague-Ruzyně Airport. The memorandum was signed by the Chairman of the Management Board and CEO of Prague Airport, Miroslav Dvořák, and Chairman of the Management Board and President of Czech Airlines, Radomír Lašák.
“Czech Airlines is in a very unique position, with its nearly one-half share of the operations of Prague-Ruzyně Airport, and more than 90% share in the total number of transfer passengers,” said the Chairman of the Management Board and CEO of Prague Airport, Miroslav Dvořák, on the occasion of the signing, and added: “In our joint memorandum, we are declaring our efforts to increase the quality of services, whether in the sorting of baggage or in passenger transfers. As for the specific results of our cooperation, I could point, for example, to our investments into sorting room equipment that has reduced the number of delayed bags.”
“Cooperation with Prague Airport has always been on a high level. Recently, we have been successfully finding further ways of developing it. Since the new management was put in place, the customer focus of Prague Airport has improved. We welcome the signing of the agreement and see it as a confirmation of the willingness of the operator of our home airport, for whom Czech Airlines is the most significant partner, to guarantee the already high qualitative parameters,” said Chairman of the Management Board and President of Czech Airlines Radomír Lašák.
