04. 10. 2011 - Czech Airlines and Air France Renew Their Codeshare Cooperation
Prague, 4 October 2011
With the start of the 2011/2012 winter season, Czech Airlines and Air France return to their code-share cooperation on scheduled flights between the Czech Republic and France. Together, the two airlines bring passengers a comfortable offer of 6 daily return flights on the Prague - Paris route, 3 of which will be operated by Czech Airlines and 3 by Air France. The flights will be available as of today in both airlines’ booking systems.
The number of return flights on the Prague – Paris route that both airlines will offer their passengers in the upcoming winter season will be the same as last year. On some flights, there have been slight adjustments in departure times, not amounting to more than several minutes. The new code-sharing agreement between Czech Airlines and Air France was concluded with the prospect of long-term cooperation.
“The negotiations with Air France representatives resulted in straightening of our mutual business relations and the renewal of long-term cooperation, which pleases us greatly,” said Jiří Marek, a member of the Management Board and Czech Airlines Vice President for Sales and Marketing.
“After more than ten years partnership, we needed to revisit our cooperation scheme. We are now back to a natural situation where as two original SkyTeam carriers we cooperate on Paris-Prague route to provide better product and connectivity to our customers,” underlined Frantisek Siling, Country Manager Czech Republic and Slovakia for Air France KLM.
Both airlines are currently analysing the form of the flight schedule between France and the Czech Republic for the next summer season.
