29. 11. 2006 - Petr Pištělák to become the new CSA Vice-President for Marketing and Product Development

Prague, November 29, 2006

Petr Pištělák (36), arriving at Czech Airlines (CSA) with, inter alia, ten years’ experience in marketing and sales positions in one of the largest global companies, Procter & Gamble, is to be the new CSA Vice-President for Marketing and Product Development from December. He was appointed CSA Vice-President for Marketing and Product Development by the CSA Board of Directors.

The Marketing and Product Development Segment that Petr Pištělák will lead from December will be established by merging the Product Development and Marketing units.

Petr Pištělák graduated from the Economics and Management Department of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Brno University of Technology. Besides a regular university degree in the Czech Republic he also completed a two-year course in macro- and microeconomics at Yale University and a course in marketing, management and finance at Birmingham College in Britain. He comes to CSA from the position of Head of Marketing, Product & Communication at the PPF Financial Group in China. Prior to his commitment in China he was part of the management of eBanka for three years, his last position being the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Executive Director for Marketing and Products. Before that he held various marketing and business positions over a period of ten years at the American Fast Moving Consumer Goods giant Procter & Gamble, both in the Czech Republic as well as abroad. Petr Pištělák speaks fluent English.
