1. 2. 2006 - Dušan Ryban named CSA Vice-president for Human Resources

Effective 1 February 2006, Dušan Ryban (41) is the Czech Airlines Vice-president for Human Resources.  Mr. Ryban joined CSA in January 2004 as Executive Director, Personnel and Education.

Dušan Ryban graduated from the Military Academy in Bratislava; and later completed postgraduate studies in Management, Automation and Information Technology at the Prague University of Economics.

His professional human resources experience comes from his career at the Czech Ministry of Defence where he was in charge of the army change-over to a professional one over the 2002-2003 period.

As a chief instructor in the Czech Army Training Centre, he prepared specialists for their future assignments at UN missions.

In 1993-1999, Ryban was a member of military missions in Iraq, Croatia, and Bosnia and  Herzegovina. 

Dušan Ryban speaks English, German, Russian and Serbo-Croatian.  He is married with two children.  His hobbies include sports (skiing, cycling, squash) and his country cottage.
