17.5.2005 - Czech Airlines pilots again win the Most Consistent Performance Award

Prague/Manchester, 17 May 2005

Czech Airlines, for the second year running, wins the prestigious international “Airline with the Most Consistent Performance” award in the Skyliners’ Awards by Manchester Airport. The award recognises the skilful flying of Czech Airlines pilots in keeping on-track within the preferred noise routes and flight path during take-off in order to limit disturbance to local residents.

Czech Airlines was singled out from 50 airlines that met the criteria, as the airline with the most consistent performance for the second year running. Tomas Kaufman, CSA’s Director in the UK took the award from the Managing Director of Manchester Airport, John Spooner on behalf of CSA.

“We very much appreciate the award. Thanks to perfect team work of our crews, staying within the tightly defined flight corridors minimises noise to local residents. CSA thus contributes to the environmental performance targets set by the Manchester Airport authorities,“ said Peter Jusko, CSA Vice-president for Flight Operations.
