A GET-TOGETHER WITH SKYTEAM CARGO CUSTOMERS

On 20 September 2007, as the summer was fading, representatives from Cargo met their important customers at a get-together in Prague, one of the thirteen strategic SkyTeam Cargo markets.
The local MCC (Market Coordination Committee) led by CSA Cargo staff in cooperation with other local partners – Air France Cargo–KLM Cargo, Delta Cargo and Korean Air Cargo organized the event financed by the SkyTeam Cargo.
The get-together was held in the non-traditional, exotic environment of the Prague Zoo.  After a welcoming drink, about sixty customers were shown the most attractive animal pavilions by professional guides.
The CSA Cargo Director, Jan Grabmüller, addressed the customers and informed them about the alliance’s strategy.
Then the stage was taken over by a Cuban band, Santa Marabu.  A wide-ranging well-stocked buffet was accompanied by samba rhythms for the rest of the evening.

CSA CARGO AT THE MUNICH TRADE FAIR

CSA Cargo, together with its SkyTeam Cargo partners, participated as an exhibitor in the biggest European International Trade Fair for Logistics, Telematics and Transport.  The 11th Munich trade fair, which took place in Munich between 12-15 June 2007, was accompanied by the Air Cargo Europe 07 conference and topped the previous 2005 fair in both its size and number of participants.  1580 exhibitors from 60 countries attracted 47 000 visitors from 113 countries.
This year the trade fare was very important for CSA Cargo as it organized the participation of SkyTeam Cargo.  We are very pleased that the SkyTeam presentation was so successful on a global basis.
The trade fair again proved to be an ideal occasion to strengthen business relationships and cooperation and not only among alliance partners.  It was also an excellent occasion to see what the competition has to offer.  CSA Cargo representatives welcomed many important customers, general sales agents and media representatives in the spacious, stylish SkyTeam Cargo stand (marked with all the logos of our alliance partners) throughout the fair and also at a cocktail reception held for important business partners. We would like to thank all those of our customers who visited our fair booth.

CHANGE IN THE INVOICING METHOD

From 1 April 2007, Czech airlines hived off all handling services and services related to handling of goods into an independent subsidiary –Air Cargo Terminal a.s.. In connection with the change, the invoicing for these services also changes. CSA Cargo does not invoice handling services and services related to cargo handling separately, as independent services provided by Czech airlines. As of the above date, the services provided by Air Cargo Terminal a.s. are included, as cost elements, in the total cost of transport.
The change is also reflected in the method of VAT application.
