WORKING HOURS - CSA CARGO CONTROL SYSTEMS

Based on requirements requested by our domestic and foreign customers, as of 1 September 2000, we have decided to extend the working hours of CSA Cargo Control Systems - carrying out the reservations of space on CSA flights. CSA will ensure booking of shipments on:

Weekdays:  7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Saturday:  7 a.m. - 3 p.m.

To book a consignment, call +420 2 20113514, 20113410. Booking is possible, at the earliest, 20 days before the planned shipping date. On weekdays, during CSA Cargo regular working hours reservations can also be carried out by contacting telephone numbers: +420 2 20113524, 20114379, 20113698, 20113156, 20115333.


CSA CARGO OFFERS NEW DESTINATIONS

In cooperation with FISCHER AIR, CSA Cargo now offers transport to the following destinations: Palma Malorca (PMI), Malta (MLA), Dubrovnik (DBV) and Agadir (AGA). Transport is ensured by B 737-300 aircraft.
Also, as a general dealer (seller) for the airline Air Moldova, we also offer daily connection to Kisiniv (KIV).
In both cases, consignments are accepted for transportation with CSA in a standard way and a CSA air waybill (AWB) serves as the transportation document. A timetable and price list for these destinations can be obtained from our Sales Department at the telephone number: +420 2 20113046, 20113698.


CSA CARGO AT MSW BRNO

CSA Cargo will be participating in the International Industry Trade Fair in Brno being held from 18 - 22 September 2000. Our representatives will be glad to meet with you at our fair stand V/B 24.
In addition to this, in cooperation with the company STILL, a demonstration of the mechanisms and aircraft containers used by CSA will be carried out in the area in front of pavilion Z.


EMBARGO ON ACCEPTING SHIPMENTS FOR BELEGRADE

In view of the absolute shortage of space on CSA flights OK 834 and OK 830 to Belgrade, CSA have been forced to declare an embargo on accepting shipments to Belgrade. This embargo is valid from 20 August 2000 and an extension is under serious consideration.


CUSTOMER TRAINING

On 3 and 10 of July 2000, CSA Cargo organised a training session concerning tarriff creation and filling-in AWBs for employees of selected cargo agencies. We believe that this training session will contribute to lowering the amount of mistakes made when filling-in the air waybill.


PERSONNEL CHANGES AT CSA CARGO

As of 1 July Mr. Pavel Janda took over as head of the Profit Centre, thus replacing Mr. Jiri Sebek in this position. A change will also occur on 1 September in the position of head of the Marketing Department, where Mr Jindrich Bakula will be replaced by Jindrich Hudecek.
 

EXTENTION OF CASH-DESK WORKING HOURS

With regards to the increasing number of customers who collect their imported shipments late in the afternoon, the working hours of the CSA Cargo cash-desk will be extended and the cash desk will be opened upto 9 p.m. Monday - Friday from 1 July 2000.


INSTALLATION OF DOCUMENT-CASES FOR CUSTOMERS

To speed up CSA contacts with its main partners (cargo forwarding agents) when handling import shipments, drawers will be made available for 45 agencies where the import documents will be placed. Agents will be able to collect the documents any time throughout CSA Cargo working hours.


PERSONNEL CHANGE AT THE EXPORT DEPARTMENT

As of 15 June 2000, Mr. Vladimir Kindl, a long term CSA employee, joined the position of the Head of the Export department, replacing the current Head, Mr. Marek Pechar.


TRAINING IN AWB TARIFF FIXING FOR CONTRACTUAL AGENCIES

As the number of mistakes in AWB tariff fixing increases on the part of agencies which issue CSA airwaybills, we prepared a free of charge training focused on proper AWB tariff fixing on 3 and 10 July. Agencies concerned will be invited by a special letter.


CHANGE OF NAME OF THE CSA CARGO SALES AGENCY IN THE USA

We would like to draw the attention of our customers who cooperate with our sales agent for the territory of the USA to the change of name of this agency. The name of the ISC-EDV Systems has been changed to Airmark International Corp. Contacts remained the same and are as follows:

FUEL INDEX VALUE

CSA keeps monitoring the development of the fuel index the high values of which led the majority of companies to the application of an extra charge on fuel. The last value of this index from this April was 149.7 points.
