Czech Airlines Cargo
In December 2010, Czech Airlines Cargo successfully carried its first three "paperless" shipments within the framework of the E-freight project supported by IATA.
Two of these E-freight shipments, which may be described as accurate, effective, efficient, reliable, economical, and finally, yet importantly, also environmentally friendly, were shipments sent by the Czech Airlines Technics subsidiary on the Prague-Brussels route. Our first partner among freight forwarders to actively join the project with us is DHL Logistics which had the third electronic data exchange shipment carried by Czech Airlines. On 1 December 2010, a contract between Czech Airlines Cargo and SkyXS Aircargo establishing SkyXS Aircargo as the new Czech Airlines Cargo General Sales Agent in Croatia has been signed.
SkyXS offices are present in main European hubs. SkyXS Croatia is located centrally at the airport of Zagreb, surrounded by all major Croatian freight forwarders. The company has been established on November, 2004 and is representing a number of on- and off-line airlines.

On 3 November 2010, SkyTeam Cargo welcomed its new alliance member, China Southern Cargo, as its first carrier from China and eighth alliance member in total. A press conference and a ceremony accompanied by a rich cultural programme were held on the second day of the 25th International Air Cargo Forum 2010 in Amsterdam. The Chinese ambassador, and many important guests and press representatives participated in the gala event held at the universal booth shared by all alliance partners.
Czech Airlines Cargo hereby announce the tenders in the territories of Slovakia and Croatia. The potential General Sales Agents would be a constant part of the organization of Czech Airlines Cargo. The relationship will be based on both mutual trust and interest to develop the quality of the brand in the territory. On 15 September 2010, SkyTeam Cargo representatives held a traditional meeting with their important customers from the Czech Republic. This time, they organized sightseeing flights above the romantic landscape around the Dlouhá Lhota – Příbram airport.
Jan Grabmüller, Czech Airlines Cargo director, welcomed the customers on behalf of all alliance members and informed them about the current events in the Alliance, especially the development of one of its key projects, “E-freight”. Sightseeing flights on an L-410 Turbolet and a Piper PA-28/180 over the Vltava river with attractive views of Orlík castle and dam and Zvíkov castle followed. Upon arrival, there was also an interesting raffle for gift vouchers for tandem skydiving and a hearty feast for all the guests.
The event was financed by SkyTeam Cargo and organized by the local MCC (Market Coordination Committee).

Czech Airlines Cargo, together with its SkyTeam Cargo partners, participated as an exhibitor at Air Cargo China 2010. The exhibition, which took place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre between 8-10 June 2010, is one of the largest and best-attended air cargo and logistics exhibitions in China.
SkyTeam Cargo’s partners, Aeromexico Cargo, Air France Cargo-KLM Cargo, Alitalia Cargo, Czech Airlines Cargo, Delta Cargo and Korean Air Cargo, also, together, welcomed over one hundred of their customers with a cocktail reception at the jointly-run SkyTeam Cargo booth.
On 20 May 2010, Czech Airlines Cargo organized its traditional friendly football tournament for its customers. This time, eight teams measured their football skills on a pitch in Dobrovíz.
The Panalpina Czech team won the cup, with BDP – Wakestone as the runners-up. Maurice Ward & CO and the Skyport teams, jointly, came in third.

On 1 May 2010, a contract between Czech Airlines Cargo and WFS Denmark establishing WFS Denmark as the new Czech Airlines Cargo Ground Handling Agent in Denmark has been signed.
WFS Denmark is the Scandinavian branch of WFS, Worldwide Flight Services. WFS are one of the major handlers on a global level. It provides services in more than 100 locations around the world. WFS Denmark are operating at Kastrup Airport in Copenhagen, the WFS Hub for Scandinavia.
Czech Airlines awarded its most important business partners for 2009 at a gala evening yesterday. The traditional “Sirius” event was held on 13 April 2010 in the Prague Airport Congress hall. ATS – Air Transport Service received the award for the first position in the category of best Czech Airlines Cargo agent, Roth Cargo was second, and SCHENKER third. We thank all our business partners for their successful year-round cooperation and support!
In March 2010, Czech Airlines Cargo and Vector Aviation Co., Ltd., Vietnam signed a contract establishing Vector Aviation as the Czech Airlines Cargo General Sales Agent in Vietnam. Vector Aviation is one of the Vietnam leading company specializing in the aviation industry from General Sales Agents, cargo consultancy and services, charter broker, aircraft leasing and ticketing to IT distribution. Having main office situated in Ho Chi Minh City and six branches all over Vietnam, Vector Aviation currently represents more than twenty carriers worldwide.
