Czech Airlines Cargo
After a three-year hiatus, Czech Airlines is again including its own long-haul flights in its flight schedule. A wide-body Airbus A330 will join the Czech Airline’s fleet, enabling Czech Airlines to launch new two weekly direct service to Seoul, South Korea. In addition to Seoul this aircraft will be deployed also on routes to Almaty Moscow and Tel Aviv, beginning on June 2013.

19 employees representing the member airlines of the SkyTeam Cargo Alliance, including Mr. Jan Grabmüller, Executive Cargo Director of the Czech Airlines, have decided to run the ING New York City Marathon with Team for Kids.
Team for Kids is a team of volunteers who raise funds for critical services provided by New York Road Runners Youth Programs. These programs combat childhood obesity and empower youth development via running and character-building programs in low-income schools and community centers in New York City, throughout the country, and in Africa.

On Wednesday, 11 April 2012, Czech Airlines awarded its most efficient business partners at a gala evening held in “Novoměstská” town hall.
There are three major categories of Partner awards. ATS - Air Transport Service received the Czech Airlines Cargo Best Agent award for revenues on OK flights in 2011, similarly to the last two years, SCHENKER was second and Roth Cargo third. Cargo Executive Director - Jan Grabmüller presented the awards in this category.
Partner 2011 awards follows the Sirius event, where the most important Czech Airlines partners in the Czech market were annually awarded since 1996.

As of 1 January 2012, Czech Airlines Cargo launched a new CargoSpot system by CHAMP Cargosystems.
CargoSpot is a modern air cargo booking and accounting system, being remarkable for its simple operation and full integration into the Internet environment. This allows its provision to interested Czech Airlines Cargo clients. CargoSpot will allow our customers to book shipments for Czech Airlines flights directly and to follow their status. Most of our general sales agents abroad have already been using the system.
Another advantage of the system is a partial automating and simplification of accounting processes, both internal and those towards our business partners.
The implementation of the system represents yet another step in the Czech Airlines Cargo strategy leading to the expansion of the IATA e-Freight project. Last year, when Czech Airlines Cargo joined the project, 71 “paperless” e-Freight shipments were carried, being accurate, efficient, cost saving and environmental friendly.
